Travis began his education at the University of Southern Mississippi, receiving his BS in English in 1984 and he has also received training in Title Research. Travis graduated from the southern University Law Center in May 2003.
While attending Southern University Law Center. Travis was an active participant in the Southern University Elder Law Clinic and the International Law Society.
